Profile
William Wolfenden - DIRECTOR / PRODUCER
When I was 9 years old I started taking photos with an old Pentax film camera. Taking shots of Star Wars models I had just built against galactic backgrounds, later developing and enlarging them in a back room my family had converted into a photographic darkroom.
Since then I have always had a fascination with photography and creating images that grab the viewers attention and imagination.I started SCUBA diving in 1993 and later became a PADI SCUBA Instructor. Frustrated with trying to describe to my friends the beautiful underwater scenes that I was encountering around the world I bought my first video camera, a Sony TRV 900, along with an underwater housing and lighting system.
Since that first enjoyment of being able to edit video images to music for DVD production I haven't looked back. Technology has moved a long way in a very short time however my excitement from the craft of movie making and picture taking has never faded.
From the production of many Private Events and Weddings to Corporate Multimedia and Photography to national and international Documentaries my work in that little darkroom has come a long way. Now based in Sydney and the Southern Highlands, my work thankfully takes me all places with new images, people and stories.
